Eka has a life long passion for advertising. When he was 6 years old, they had a house rule: every time a commercial break appeared, Eka’s mom and dad had to shout him there to look at the ads. Already back then he decided that someday he’d be creating those wonderful stories fit for a shorter attention span. His friends wanted to be policemen, firemen, football stars, you name it – and then there was one who wanted to be a copywriter.

Today Eka is the CEO/CCO of hasan&partners, Helsinki, Finland. He couldn’t be happier, since he thinks now is the most interesting time for a passionate advertising storyteller to be working in this industry. 

Eka burns for creating engaging campaigns that activate the audience to deepen their relationship with the brand.

Eka’s work has been nominated or awarded in major award shows including Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, New York Festivals, Cresta, Eurobest, Epica, Effie and the Golden Drum. That 6-year-old is still alive in him and he hasn’t slipped from the good old house rule either.
